I am equally thrilled about my co-writer, Mark Dagostino. Mark is a multiple New York Times Bestselling co-author and former senior writer for People Magazine. His most recent book, which was released in paperback this spring, also featured a dog as one of its leading characters: The New York Times bestseller Elle & Coach by Stefany Shaheen tells the story of the inspiring effects a medic-alert dog has on one family after their daughter is diagnosed with type-1 diabetes. He also has two books hitting shelves this fall, including The Magonolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines of the HGTV hit, “Fixer Upper.” That book already shot to #1 on Amazon on its very first day of pre-orders! In this book, I will be delighted to share my whole story and significantly expand what viewers saw in the short film Eric and Peety by Mutual Rescue, an initiative of Humane Society Silicon Valley, which to date is estimated to have received more than 40 million views worldwide.
